The latest versions of TZ Professional, TZ Navigator and TZ iBoat are now capable of displaying the new weather forecasts so that you can analyze the data in depth and have all the information you need at a glance. Make your navigation safer and more comfortable than ever!
Thanks to the integration of innovations in data display technology, TIMEZERO is able to provide these weather forecasts in the form of animated particles. This allows for easy viewing of the evolution of the condition of winds, waves and other relevant data.
To collect wind, air temperature, nebulosity, pluviometry, pressure and humidity data, three models are now available. For waves, specific models are also available within the new service!

ARPEGE (Premium Weather Service)
TIMEZERO now integrates the Arpege model produced by the Météo-France meteorological service. For weather forecasting, Arpege model offers European coverage with a range of up to 10 kilometers and up to 4 days of forecast.
When it comes to waves, the model offers European coverage with a range of up to 15 kilometers and up to 4 days of forecast.
AROME (Premium Weather Service)
Like the Arpege model, Arome is produced by Météo-France meteorological service. It offers a coverage for France and bordering countries with a range of up to 1 kilometer and up to 2 days of forecast.
When it comes to waves, Arome offers a coverage for France and bordering countries with a range of up to 3 kilometers and up to 2 days of forecast.
NAM Conus (Premium Weather Service)
The NAM CONUS is produced by NOAA and it offers coverage only for North America at a resolution of 3 kilometers up to 2.5 days of forecast.
The American forecasting model at mesoscale (North American Mesoscale Forecast System / NAM) is a reputable and proven model that provides forecasts for the entire American territory and extends all the way to the Caribbean.
This model does not offer waves data.
DWD ICON (Premium Weather Service)
The DWD ICON model is provided by the Germain national weather service. Its high resolution makes it superior to the GFS model.
- The DWD ICON Global model that offers a worldwide coverage with a range up to 13 km and up to 7.5 days of forecast
- The DWD ICON Europe that offers a higher resolution only for Europe coverage with a range of up to 6 km and up to 5 days of forecast.
This model does not offer waves data.
GFS (Free Weather Service)
The Global Forecast System or GFS is natively integrated in TIMEZERO. Produced by the National Center for Environmental Prediction (NCEP), GFS provides large meteorological variables such as temperature, wind, pluviometry or humidity. This model offers worldwide coverage with a range of up to 25 kilometers and up to 15 days of forecast.
This model does not offer waves data.
COPERNICUS Waves Model (Premium Weather Service)
The Copernicus model is high resolution model produced by Copernicus Marine, forced with ECMWF Winds.
Only available for waves, it offers a worldwide coverage with a range of up to 9 kilometers and up to 4 days of forecast.
WW3 Waves Model (Free Weather Service)
The WAVEWATCH III® (WW3) digital sea state model is integrated in the TIMEZERO high-resolution weather service. Only available for waves, the WW3 model is jointly developed by the US Meteorological Services and the Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service of the Navy.
Only available for waves, it offers a worldwide coverage with a range of up to 50 kilometers and up to 7 days of forecast.
Rain Radar (Premium Weather Service)
In addition, Rain Radar allows you to monitor the evolution of precipitation and storms around you in near real-time directly on your chart. Unlike traditional weather forecasts that rely on models, the Rain Radar provides real observations. This data comes from an extensive network of weather radars covering a large part of the globe.
The Rain Radar requires an Internet connection.
Marine Forecat Zones (Premium Weather Service)
Finaly, the Marine Forecast Zones feature provides US users with comprehensive, meteorologist-prepared bulletins, offering a significant advantage over traditional model forecasts (GRIB file). This is important and actionable weather information for potential hazards, giving advanced warnings and helping navigate safely.
Only available in the USA. The Marine Forecast Zones feature requires an Internet connection.
